Announced on the main stage of New York Comic Con, some familiar faces are going to be the creative team on the upcoming WOLVERINE ongoing series. Ben Percy (X-FORCE, WOLVERINE: THE LONG NIGHT) will write the series with Adam Kubert (WOLVERINE, WEAPON X, WOLVERINE: WEAPON X) and Victor Bogdanovic (ACTION COMICS, THE SILENCER) on art duties.
This will be the first ongoing series for Wolverine, aka Logan, aka Weapon X, aka Patch, aka “Lucky” Jim Howlett, since before his death in 2014. No matter how upset Twitter will be, this is going to be a successful book and a smart move.

Just announced at the Marvel Comics: X-Men ā Dawn of X Panel at New York Comic Con, WOLVERINE #1 will kick off in February, following Wolverine as he takes it upon himself to defend the new nation of Krakoa from the humans who would exploit its extraordinary resources. With a new mission comes a new creative team, and Wolverine couldnāt ask for a better one to guide him in his new role.
Award-winning comic book author Ben Percy brought Marvel stories to life in a brand-new way with two critically acclaimed scripted podcasts, Marvelās āWolverine: The Long Night,ā and Marvelās āWolverine: The Lost Trail.ā Percyās take on the iconic character delighted both new and long-term fans, and heās the perfect guide for Wolverine as the character dives into the criminal underworld to protect mutantkind from outside threats.

And teaming up with Ben Percy is the legendary comic book artist, Adam Kubert! No stranger to Logan, Adam Kubert has brought Wolverine to life on the page since the early 90s. Some of the characters most iconic imagery has been crafted by Kubertās expert skills, and his epic return to the character promises that the best is yet to come!
