BatChat With Matt & Will: Stop Trying to Make Geo-Force Happen (w/Austin Gorton)

Batman and the Outsiders Banner

Over his 85+ years, Batman has been a member of lots of different teams. This week, fellow ComicsXF writer Austin Gorton stops by to talk about three different teams Batman has been a member of. We fill in another gap in Will’s knowledge of the roots of the Morrison run, Snapper Carr is kind of the worst and once again Mike W. Barr shows his version of Batman has a bit more of a flexible version of The One Rule.

  • The Batmen of All Nations (Detective Comics V.1 #215)
  • Snapper Carr- The Super Traitor! (Justice League of America V.1 #77)
  • Enter: The Outsiders! (Batman and the Outsiders V.1 #1-2)

Be sure to check out this week’s BatChat column where we look at Batman and Robin #2, Batman: City of Madness #1 and Batman: The Adventures Continue- Season Three #8.

Matt Lazorwitz read his first comic at the age of 5. It was Who's Who in the DC Universe #2, featuring characters whose names begin with B, which explains so much about his Batman obsession. He writes about comics he loves, and co-hosts the podcasts BatChat with Matt & Will and The ComicsXF Interview Podcast.

Will Nevin loves bourbon and AP style and gets paid to teach one of those things. He is on Twitter far too often.

Austin Gorton also reviews older issues of X-Men at the Real Gentlemen of Leisure website, co-hosts the A Very Special episode podcast, and likes Star Wars. He lives outside Minneapolis, where sometimes, it is not cold. Follow him on Twitter @AustinGorton
