Sorry, folks, Storm’s not actually in the preview. Sure, she’s front and center on Joshua Cassara’s gorgeous cover, but she’s not in any of Valerio Schiti’s also-gorgeous interior pages.

Anyway, per Marvel solicits, this is the issue where Storm rejoins the Avengers, a team she was last a member of during the Schism/Avengers vs. X-Men era in the early 2010s. The world was just turned on its head by the fall of Krakoa and the rise of the vampires (and also Doctor Doom, apparently), so Earth’s Mightiest Heroes could use a little extra firepower. Who better than a goddess and former regent of Sol?
