What do you think Scott and Jean’s psychic dates are like these days? With Jean the Phoenix again and journeying through space, and Scott in Alaska still doing X-Men stuff, catching each other up must be weird at times.
Jean: How’s Logan?
Scott: We don’t talk much. He’s down in Louisiana with Rogue’s team, but he’s also in Canada somehow simultaneously.
Jean: Classic Logan. How about Ororo?
Scott: She lives in a flying saucer that spends most of its time hovering over Atlanta. Just her and Maggott and a bunch of baby hippos and a mech battlesuit she has for some reason.
Jean: She always said she needed more space. Well, how about Anna Marie and Remy?
Scott: Those two? Ugh, I’m still mad at them about the professor. If only they’d listened to me.
Jean: What happened again?
Scott: I wanted that angry podcaster lady to keep him imprisoned indefinitely so the humans would leave us alone, and they were all, “Capitulation is for traitors, mon ami. Don’t obey in advance, y’all!”
Jean: Well, they were probably right about that one. It’s a bit Chuck Schumer of you. How about Hank, Bobby and Warren?
Scott: Regressed to the version from the cartoon, spying on Kitty as a favor to Rogue, and he can turn into a buzzsaw now. But enough about us. How’s space?
Jean: I attack and dethrone God once a month.
Scott: You win. I love you.
