Chill exes reunited. One X-woman on the hunt for another. Havok being a dumbass and working for Sinister, again. And Gambit as one of the last guardians of Penumbra.
Marvel on Tuesday revealed details about four more of the books that are part of Age of Revelation, the latest in a long tradition of dark X-futures, in which Doug Ramsey, the heir of Apocalypse known as Revelation, has remade the world.
The publisher shared details Monday about the first five books – Amazing X-Men, Binary, Laura Kinney: Sabretooth, Longshots and World of Revelation – with more to come as we get deeper into this, the month of Comic-Con. Today’s batch are all set for publication Oct. 15.

Among the things of note in today’s announcements, Uncanny X-Men artist David Marquez is taking on writing duties on Sinister’s Six. Marquez recently released his first written-and-drawn creator-owned comic, The Unchosen, which we interviewed him about on The ComicsXF Interview Podcast. He mentioned having more, as-yet-unannounced writing gigs in the hopper. This would appear to be one of those.
Other items of note:
- Rogue is one of the two leads of Rogue Storm, but her tombstone is on the cover of Unbreakable X-Men #1. Has she taken a page from Charles Xavier and faked her own death?
- Gambit’s blind again.
- Fantomex is one of Sinister’s Six, but is also listed among Rogue’s team in Rogue Storm. Has Charlie-Cluster 7 split again? Is this a Dani Moonster in Age of X-Man situation? Do the two books take place at two different points in time? MYSTERY.
- Domino is looking an awful lot like Auntie Fortune, the Domino-Nightcrawler chimera from the “Sins of Sinister” book Nightcrawlers. Is Sinister f’ing around with clones again? Of course he is, he’s Sinister.
- Heh. Sinister’s Six. Sinister Six. I get it.
