In 1983, Marvel released a promotional comic called The Uncanny X-Men at the State Fair of Texas, in which Professor X and Magneto compete to recruit a mutant named Danny Wiley who has the power to transform into a winged centaur. It is his first and only appearance.

Next week, the Uncanny X-Men go to a Louisiana festival created to celebrate mutants, which is a very nice gesture, BUT.
It’s also a perfect opportunity to bring back Horse Angel. You know some sicko on the internet with a Let’s Talk Eques account has been pestering Gail Simone to do this. Let’s make that one poor bastard’s dream come true.
Check out our exclusive preview of Uncanny X-Men #18, out next week, and keep scrolling for the basic deets.
