Electron gets it in our EXCLUSIVE preview of Marvel’s Imperial War: Exiles #1

The X-Men, and mutants in general, are often portrayed as underdogs, a marginalized group operating in a world that hates and fears them. Yet when it’s time to do space battles, their greatest allies are the royal family of an intergalactic empire that has pressed countless alien races into its service.

Sure, Lilandra has talked about wanting to one day think about maybe introducing the concept of reforms, but Marvel’s infinite status quo means the next coup or crossover or Vulcan will completely erase any attempts at that.

But the great thing about House Neramani is there’s always another secret child of the Mad Emperor D’Ken to shock the system. And frankly, I like the cut of this one’s jib.

Electron, a Shi’ar Superguardian, is out here, criticizing Xandra and Deathbird for taking refuge in the imperial slums, for spending more time with the nobles and Earth mutants than the empire’s neediest, for using the Imperial Guard to squash domestic dissent in its cities (SOUND FAMILIAR?!).

Tell me more about your glorious revolution, New Daddy.
