BatChat With Matt & Will: Batman Begins At 20

Batman Begins Banner

Time moves ever forward. I can’t believe that Batman Begins is 20 years old this year. As I question my mortality and life choices, this week we read three stories from the Batman Begins trade, including the movie adaptation, a retelling of Batman’s origin by Denny O’Neil and a one off by Greg Rucka.

  • Batman Begins: The Official Movie Adaptation
  • The Man Who Falls (Secret Origins of the World’s Greatest Super Heroes TPB)
  • Air Time (Detective Comics V.1 #757)

This week’s BatChat column focuses on Batman: Dark Patterns #10.

And if you enjoyed us talking about Batman/Marvel crossovers last week, go and read some of our fellow CXF staffers talking about Deadpool/Batman.

Matt Lazorwitz read his first comic at the age of 5. It was Who's Who in the DC Universe #2, featuring characters whose names begin with B, which explains so much about his Batman obsession. He writes about comics he loves, and co-hosts the podcasts BatChat with Matt & Will and The ComicsXF Interview Podcast.

Will Nevin loves bourbon and AP style and gets paid to teach one of those things. He is on Twitter far too often.
