Once upon a time, Fantomex was split into three people – Fantomex, Cluster and Weapon XIII – each a different aspect of the original Charlie Cluster-7.
In the Age of Revelation, we’ve seen two of those personalities – Fantomex in Murewa Ayodele and Roland Boschi’s Rogue Storm, and Cluster, or Lady Fantomex, in David Marquez and Rafael Loureiro’s Sinister’s Six.
One of those books, Rogue Storm, takes place five years into the Age of Revelation, and saw Fantomex beheaded in the most recent issue.
The other, Sinister’s Six, takes place in the present of this alternate future, and as you’ll see in the preview below, Cluster has the ability to talk to herself, which is to say commune with her other Fanto-selves.
Are they really there? Are they ghosts? Are they psychic projections? Are they, as she says, “some perverse mix of post-traumatic stress and viral epigenomic programming resulting in an emergent psychic poly-morphism?”
Eh, who cares? This crossover’s over in a month.
Check out our exclusive preview of Sinister’s Six #3, out next week, and keep scrolling for the basic deets.
