In our team’s coverage of Uncanny X-Men #20, we pondered just how good of friends Rogue and Spider-Man really are.
But after reading Murewa Ayodele and Roland Boschi’s Rogue Storm, we think we get it. When you get cloned in the Marvel Universe, you need to lean on someone who’s shared that experience, someone who, every once in a while, has gone through the existential pain of wondering whether they’re the original, or they’ve been the clone this entire time and Norman Osborn is just messing with them.
It’s a small support group. Rogue and Spidey are there. Cable pops in from time to time. Some Sinisters and Marauders tend to wander in off the street.
Jean Grey tried to join, but for some reason no one else wanted her there; said it wasn’t the same thing. But she brings good snacks. Store bought.
