John must juggle his job, hiding the Martian, his expanding abilities, and his crumbling relationships, all while living out of a motel. Written by Deniz Camp and drawn by Javier Rodriguez. Rasmus’ pick: Justice League Unlimited #14: As the time-displaced heroes fight for their lives against the towering might of the demonic Neron, Mr. Terrific descends into the cold vacuum of space! But this time it’s by his own design. Can Michael Holt team with the rogue agent behind Justice League Red to purge all emotion and coldly calculate the fate of humanity? Austin’s pick: Cloak or Dagger #3: The Fenris Twins have cornered Cloak, and it’s not looking good. Tony Thornley: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles — Battle Nexus #1: This five-part weekly event series finds the Turtles fighting for their lives in a martial arts challenge against allies from other TMNT universes. Written by Tom Waltz and drawn by Esau and Isaac Escorza for IDW. ($4.99) Buy it here.
Adam’s pick: Voyeur #3: Madeline has immersed herself fully in Rook’s world. The art thief has infiltrated the luxurious Koh Kingfisher resort as a security guard, and he’s using his perch from the control room to spy on the guests via the closed-circuit cameras. When they leave their rooms, he enters on the sly, stealing the expensive paintings from the walls and replacing them with fakes. Madeline decides to speed up the process by luring the unsuspecting victims away herself to give Rook the access he needs. But can the crook handle the jealousy her scheme fuels within him? Now, Annalise has a choice: try to lead a normal life for the first time ever, or seek revenge and maybe overthrow the world order in the process.
