Matt’s pick: Batwoman #1: Since she was 10 years old, Kate Kane has lived in the shadow of a prophecy and the machinations of a religion devoted to the end of all things. How do you fight the devil when the devil is real? And how do you win? Written by Greg Rucka and drawn by Dani. ($3.99) Previously, in Batwoman … | Buy it here.

Adam’s pick: Dead Teenagers #1: Since 1997, five friends have been trapped in the ultimate nightmare as a mysterious entity forces them to relive their first prom night over and over again … and re-kills them in new and increasingly insane ways each time. They dress up. They party. They make out. And no matter what they try to change, they always die. Until now. Something is about to break the cycle that has kept Alicia, J.T., Ryder, Brandy and their group of friends locked in a bizarre purgatory beyond all understanding. But what they find on the other side will be the most disturbing revelation of all. By Jude Ellison S. Doyle and Caitlin Yarsky for Oni Press. ($4.99) Buy it here.

Or should she kiss her freedom goodbye? Written by Alex Paknadel and drawn by Roge Antonio. ($3.99) Check out a preview. | Buy it here.

Dan’s pick: Wrestle Heist #4: Our intrepid heroes, wronged by corrupt wrestling promoter Buddy Hansen, begin the process of robbing the biggest show of the year — Fightsgiving! How do five former pro-wrestlers rob a giant wrestling show? Hopefully everything goes smoothly! By Kyle Starks for Image. ($3.99) Buy it here.

Mark’s pick: The Lucky Devils #7: The seventh circle of Hell is a big one — it’s all about that ultra-violence, baby! This all began by an innocent bit of rule-breaking by two little shoulder devils with an aversion to authority and a desire to change their lives for the better. But now, as Hell itself spills up onto Earth and chaos takes over, it’s starting to feel like maybe our little demonic buddies may have bitten off more than they can chew. By Charles Soule and Ryan Browne for Image. ($3.99) Buy it here.

Rasmus’ pick: The Mortal Thor #8: Magni was the God of Strength and strong enough to refuse the rule of the Golden Realm. Yet even so, he could be hurt. For there came a day when two great friends went to battle in a land far from Asgard’s light, and only one returned. This is the story of the Son of Thor, and the day his great heart broke. Written by Al Ewing and drawn by Juann Cabal. ($4.99) Buy it here.

Tony’s pick: G.I. Joe #20: Duke and Optimus Prime meet for the first time. What does this mean for the future of the Energon Universe? Written by Joshua Williamson and drawn by Andrea Milana for Image/Skybound. ($3.99) Buy it here.

Scott’s pick: Nightwing #136: Bludhaven’s new super-highway was meant to be its lifeline but has instead become a hotbed of strange and violent incidents. X-Men #27: The X-Men are scattered across the globe and strained to their breaking points. Who has been orchestrating these calamities? Find out here. Written by Jed MacKay and drawn by Netho Diaz. ($4.99) Previously, in X-stuff … | Buy it here.

Lobo #1: The Main Man is back, and his ride is a motorcycle that moves at the speed of sound, but only if that sound is a rippin’ guitar solo, and you better hop on before he leaves you in the dust with all the bastiches he’s fragged for money or convenience. Written by Skottie Young and drawn by Jorge Corona. ($3.99) Previously, in Lobo stuff … | Buy it here.
