Proving that you can’t keep a great idea down, the X-Men of the internet are returning this summer! The .Exe/men were introduced by Bryan Edward Hill and Neil Edwards in 2018’s WHAT IF? X-MEN #1 as cyberpunk hackers. It was very good. They returned in MARVEL COMICS PRESENTS #9 earlier this year. And now, they are back again.
In the preview for Marvel’s IRON MAN 2020 event, they released a checklist for all the series involved. From it, we can see a surprising title. WEAPON.EXE!
Weapon.exe is, of course, Abraham Cornelius’ Reddit account (u/Wolverine) as introduced by Zac Thompson, Lonnie Nadler, and Andre Lima Araujo this year. Nothing is known about this title, except that it comes out this May. Hoping for more Matrix action and the cyberpunk nonsense fans crave.
