Empyre: X-Men Brings Marvel’s Mutants Into The Cosmic Conflict

Everything is Empyre, even if we don’t want it to be. Luckily, the X-Office has decided to tie into things by giving up the content we crave from the creators we love. EMPYRE: X-MEN #1 & #2 (of 4) were announced today with a crew that should be familiar to the Dawn of X faithful.

Empyre: X-Men #1 has Jonathan Hickman & Tini Howard writing with Matteo Buffagni on art duties. The Mike McKone cover shows Magik, Angel, and Penance strolling through the garden. Empyre: X-Men #2 pulls in Lucas Werneck on art with Gerry Duggan and Leah Williams writing. It shows the commitment of the X-Office to these creators that all of them have been, or will be, involved with the current books. They have made Empyre and essential part of all of our lives, and we must accept that.
