Anthologies are hard. It’s enough of a challenge to get one creative team to tell a solid story, much less three. Deadpool: Black, White & Blood #3 sidesteps that challenge by making the appeal come from the creators. You have Stan Sakai, the legend behind Usagi Yojimbo, a comic that has never been bad. You have actor Jay Baruchel lending star power and the hope that he RTs this damn thing so we can squeeze some more ad revenue out of this preview. And rounding it out you have Frank Tieri. Well, 2/3 ain’t bad.
In our exclusive preview, Deadpool fights a nun, has a contest with Bullseye and most importantly does that thing where someone dies in a Stan Sakai comic and a speech balloon shows up with a skull.
