While the wider world may know him best from his MCU debut, over in comics Shang-Chi has been making quiet an impact thanks to quality work from Gene Luen Yang and Dike Ruan. The film, which revolved around the relationship of Shang-Chi’s parents, is now making its reverberations known through a new arc “Family Of Origin” in Shang-Chi #7. Though out his time with the character, Yang has been focused on Shang’s family, first with his siblings in the Five Weapons Society and with his evil father Zheng Zu.
