A while back, when Rise of the Powers of X #3 was first solicited, we hazarded some guesses as to who was the gloved hand pointing a high-tech looking gun at Moira on the cover. Charles Xavier came in third, after Mystique and Moira herself.
But here he is, aiming what kinda looks like Forge’s old depowering gun at a little girl version of Moira X whose powers haven’t yet manifested, in the hopes it will stop the rise of Orchis, the Dominion, all of it.
So congratulations, whoever in the CXF Slack guessed Xavier. You win.
