Marvel is a subsidiary of a global megacorporation. Al Ewing is a wizard who knows what his readers want to see: a superhero sticking it to the richos who own megacorporations. And because there is not currently a fifth Thor movie in the planning stages, Disney will let Marvel let Al Ewing do what he wants. One of the benefits of comics not making any real money, I suppose. They can have a little sticking it to the pretend man. As a treat.
