Ba studies Robin, tri-color Turtles and more of this week’s Staff Picks

Each week, ComicsXF staff offer their recommendations for what to read. New DC books come out Tuesdays (for now), everything else Wednesdays.

Matt’s pick: The Boy Wonder #1: The young prince Damian Wayne was raised to be the heir to the fearsome League of Assassins. But everything changed when his father, the Batman, reclaimed him and brought him back to Gotham City. As Robin, young Damian suddenly discovered he was merely one of a number of princes, preceded in the role by his brothers Nightwing, Red Hood and Red Robin. But when his father is forced to leave the city on urgent business, and a rash of abductions is accompanied by whispers of a demon stalking Gotham’s dark alleys, Damian will find himself battling alongside his adoptive brothers — and in the process, learning what the mantle of Robin really means. Yukichi will be released unharmed, only if our heroes abandon their search and leave the area. Usagi is shocked when his new enemies have something heartbreaking delivered to him to show how serious they are. By Stan Sakai for Dark Horse. ($4.99) Buy it here.

Adam’s pick: X-Men Forever #3: A hunt in the White Hot Room, and a heartwarming family reunion (by which we mean “possibly involving setting fire to someone’s heart with a flamethrower”). Dan’s pick: The One Hand #4: The hunt for the new One Hand Killer is nearing its end, and Detective Ari Nassar only needs to uncover one final clue.
