Mister Sinister is an asshole.
That’s not a hot take, even if I said a swear. He is. We had a whole crossover about it just last year.
So when he extends a listening ear and, surprisingly, some actual empathy to his conspirator of many decades, Destiny, it comes off as surprising. Did he alter his genes to take the guise of a not-all-the-way-shitty person?
Or is writer Kieron Gillen just sad to put one of his favorite Marvel toys back on the shelf as he shifts his focus once more toward creator-owned projects?
There are many mysteries left to wrap up as the Krakoan era draws to a close. Maybe this is one of them.
