You guys ‘member that time Wolverine got knocked into the sewers below the Hellfire Club by Harry Leland and he said, “Okay, suckers, you’ve taken yer best shot! Now it’s my turn.”
Look like it’s Anole’s turn to declare that it is, in fact, his turn.
His turn to do what? No idea. NYX, one of the many spinoff series of the X-Men’s forthcoming “From the Ashes” era, hasn’t launched yet.
We know he’s hanging in New York with Ms. Marvel, Wolverine (Laura Kinney), Sophie Cuckoo and Prodigy. We know the last time we saw him he was loudly voicing his objection to the celebrating of Mystique and Destiny’s vow renewal. We know Wolverine belongs the city, concrete under her feet. But that’s about it.
But we love a mystery, so while we ponder what he’s doing in the sewer, check out Sara Pichelli’s cover to NYX #3, out Sept. 25, and keep scrolling for the basic deets.

To Anole –
Last night, a mutant was killed in Greenpoint. His name was Shay, but he could have been any of us. I hope you’ll come to the memorial. We have to show up for each other – or it’s gonna be guys like the Truthseekers who decide what happens to mutants in New York City. I know it’s different for you. How much you risk just leaving the house every day. And I know you hate all this super-hero stuff. But this is a fight worth fighting.
