Do y’all remember the 2016 X-Men ’92 story “The World Is a Vampire” by Chris Sims, Chad Bowers and Alti Firmansyah? The BotA Boyz covered it waaaaaaay back in Episode 7. In that story, Dead Girl from the X-Statix journeys into the Darkhold matrix or whatever and the Darkhold takes the form of a little man who kind of acts like Clippy from Microsoft Word. (“It looks like you’re trying to get rid of all the vampires. Would you like help with that?”) Here’s a picture:
Ring any bells? No? That’s fine. MY POINT IS, in this Strange Academy Blood Hunt tie-in, the Darkhold has apparently taken the form of a boy who kinda looks like this little dude, so I guess that’s just a thing it does now.
“It looks like the entire Marvel Universe is trying to get rid of all the vampires. Would you like help with that?”
