Sorry, Miles, we’ve gotta borrow you for event stuff.
In last year’s Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion #5, Miles Morales returned from a visit to Earth-6160 with Origin Boxes, devices that bestow the power of superheroes upon their recipients.
Those boxes will play a role in Armageddon, Chip Zdarsky’s summer event that allegedly will bring big changes to the Avengers.
So it’s no doubt related that Miles’ latest solo series is winding down now, as Marvel prepares to draw the line into event mode.
But don’t worry. Miles can’t stay title-less for too long. The next Spider-Verse movie comes out next year. Gotta keep that brand synergy up!
