Uncanny X-Men #25 proves it wasn’t Agatha all along: PREVIEW

When we reviewed last month’s Uncanny X-Men #24, our team assumed (incorrectly) that the big bad shown but not named sitting sexily upon her throne was the de-aged witch Agatha Harkness, vamping it up Kathryn Hahn-style.

Then Gail Simone went on Bluesky and told everyone it wasn’t Agatha.

So here, in this preview of issue #25, we find out this woman is Lady Darkhold, an undead being who has the pages of Marvel’s famed book of dark magic carved into her flesh.

Who in life was also named Agatha, and also appears to be an incredibly fit middle-aged woman with dark hair with silver stripes in it that denote aging.

Go figure.

Check out our exclusive preview of Uncanny X-Men #25, out next week, and keep scrolling for the basic deets.
