Daredevil Fights Almost-Apocalypse in our EXCLUSIVE preview of Daredevil #6!

Once upon a time, in the nascent, woman-hating days of X-Factor, a new team of villains was introduced called the Alliance of Evil. They had a leader whose identity was kept a secret from the readers, but creators Bob Layton and Jackson Guice intended to reveal that leader to be the Owl, a Daredevil villain who originated in the Silver Age. But Layton left the book before executing that reveal, leaving it to incoming writer Louise Simonson to do so. Instead of the Owl, she subbed in a new character creation (designed by her husband Walt) who could, at the behest of editor Bob Harras, serve as the “Magneto” of X-Factor. And thus, Apocalypse was born.

Anyways, Daredevil isn’t fighting Apocalypse in Daredevil #6. But he IS fighting the Owl, who was almost Apocalypse. That counts for something, right?
