Going home is hard to do in Magik And Colossus #4 (Preview)

The Rasputin siblings have had it rough. Illyana got kidnapped, raised as a demon sorceress, reverted to childing and died of a mutant-targeting virus released by a spike-aficionado. Piotr watched his sister go through all that, spoon-fed a comatose Magneto for a time, sacrificed himself to eliminate the aforementioned disease that killed his sister, came back, got left at the altar by a childhood sweetheart (her childhood, not his), then fell under the control of his evil older brother.

From that perspective, the pair’s fight through a bevy of Russian folklore beings in the Magik and Colossus miniseries seems almost like a walk in the park by comparison, but in the opening pages of issue #4, we’re reminded of (at least some of) the trauma that lies at the core of their relationship.

Check out our exclusive preview of Magik and Colossus #4, out next week, and keep scrolling for the basic deets.
