Gotham City is in New Jersey, so most of the stories that we cover take place in Matt’s beloved home state. Not many stories take place in Will’s home state of Alabama. As a matter of fact, we could really only find one. So we’re doing that story, as well as two stories from creators who are native to Alabama. This is not at all because Will really wanted to cover Batman: Off-World from Alabama native son, Jason Aaron. Not at all. Aside from that story, we’re also reading a story where Batman and Robin chase Joker across the USA and the mini-series that led up to Grant Morrison’s run on JLA from another Alabama native, Mark Waid.
