We’ve argued plenty ’round these parts about whether Deadpool is an X-Men character, but apparently we should be arguing more about whether Deadpool is a Spider-Man character.
Case in point: This comic. Deadpool has a version of the Carnage symbiote. He is being pursued by Doctor Octopus and a character named Harrower to whom the symbiote belongs. We are knee deep in goo territory, and where there’s goo — and Octopus tentacles — there will inevitably be a Spider-Man team-up.
Oh but also, did you know that Harrower is the granddaughter of one of the members of Hordeculture, that cadre of evil scientist grannies who menaced the X-Men in the early days of the Hickman run? I love those old ladies! They’re like the Golden Girls but EEE-vil.
Anyway, this is a preview of Deadpool #3 by Alyssa Wong and Martin Coccolo. Enjoy.
GIVE DEADPOOL A HAND! AND ANOTHER HAND! You ever had a stomachache so bad, it felt like something was trying to tear its way out of you? Yeah, Deadpool did too, and it turned out he was right. Looks painful, feels worse — and it’s not over yet.
