Finally, the Dawn of X from Emplate’s perspective in our EXCLUSIVE preview of Dark X-Men #3

Emplate, aka Marius St. Croix, was among the villains to emerge from a gate when Charles Xavier offered mutant amnesty to all in 2019’s House of X #5. A data page would later reveal he had been charged with helping measure the island’s energy-absorption levels. And that was pretty much all we saw of him until Dark X-Men #1.

Dark X-Men #3 shows some of those halcyon Krakoa days from Emplate’s perspective: arriving on the island, being put to work and watching his siblings play from a distance in the Akademos Habitat (never did get a full St. Croix family reunion, did we?).

It also shows Archangel going full-on angel of death again, so let’s see how that works out. Check out our exclusive preview of Dark X-Men #3, out next week, and keep scrolling for the basic deets.
