Storm vs. Big A in our EXCLUSIVE variant cover reveal for X-Men of Apocalypse Alpha

It’s crazy how much Age of Apocalypse there’s been since the original Age of Apocalypse story. We wrote about it once.

Based on this variant cover by Marco Checchetto to X-Men of Apocalypse Alpha, out Sept. 3, we were inspired to do a quickly googly on what the Storm of Earth-295 got up to after 1995’s X-Men Omega. Turns out Weapon X, aka Logan, turned her into that world’s version of Ozymandias after he became the heir of Apocalypse.

Based on the art below, it looks like she got better. And her hair got longer. Either that or this comic ignores post-AoA continuity to tell its own story, and/or the cover doesn’t really tip to the content inside.

WHO KNOWS?!

Check out Checchetto’s cover, and keep scrolling for the basic deets.
