Sugar Man is a Labubu in our EXCLUSIVE preview of Marvel’s X-Men #21

As you’ve no doubt seen, this is the summer of Labubu. The jagged-toothed, fur-suit wearing, Funko-supplanting, Where the Wild Things Are-looking things – and their many replicas – are the hottest thing this side of climate change. No doubt when kids go back to school in a week or two, many of them will have one hanging from their belt or bookbag.

Disney has already capitalized on Labubu fever with its “Head in the Clouds” line of vinyl/plush Miniso collectibles, so it stands to reason the Mouse‘s subsidiaries could do the same.

What I’m saying is, the Sugar Man is already the size and shape of a Labubu, imagine him hanging from the belts of every seventh grader at Standard Middle School.

Come to think of it, imagine any modern American seventh grader knowing who the Sugar Man is.

Check out our exclusive preview of X-Men #21, out next week, and keep scrolling for the basic deets.
