Matt’s pick: The Other/Half #1: Formerly a high-society darling, Ethan thinks the worst thing he’ll have to contend with over the holidays is the disapproval of his upper-crust parents, but when things go awry on his job protecting the priceless Nobility Diamond, more than just his feelings are put into jeopardy. Now it’s up to his husband Henry (and their adorable cat, Skippy) to put his P.I. skills to good use and clear Ethan’s name. By Jim McCann and Joe Eisma for Ignition Press. ($4.99)

Austin’s pick: Magik & Colossus #2: The Immortal and his demonic forces have corrupted the Rasputins’ homeland. Racing against the clock to root out the villain, the siblings’ biggest fight will be with each other. Written by Ashley Allen and drawn by German Peralta. ($3.99) Buy it here.

Mark’s pick: Harley & Ivy: Life & Crimes #4: Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are on the run with almost nothing but the shirts on their backs (and they barely even have those)! Scott’s pick: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #16: The Ujigami has vowed to protect the Turtles from their greatest enemies, so why is he attacking Casey Jones? Meanwhile, Shinigami goes behind Karai’s back to make a power play of her own involving a dangerous new ally. The first step in their plan requires blood from a very specific target, and in very large amounts. Written by Gene Luen Yang and drawn by Freddie E. Williams II for IDW. ($4.99) Buy it here.

Tony’s pick: Sonic the Hedgehog #85: In their quest to find Metal Sonic, the now-trapped Sonic, Belle, Motobud and Sage discover someone has used stolen Eggman tech to take control of creatures. During their search, Sonic becomes trapped in a cryptic illusion, leaving Sage and Belle to work together to fend off the controlled Metal Sonic. Will these three creations of Dr. Eggman be able to find common ground? Or will these relationships explode? Written by Ian Flynn and Evan Stanley and drawn by Min Ho Kim for IDW.
