A New Future Foundation – and Stan Sakai – in Fantastic Four #11 (Preview)

As touted on the cover, Stan Sakai contributes a story in Fantastic Four #11. Sakai, of course, makes me think of Usagi Yojimbo, which in turn makes me think of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (where I first encountered Usagi Yojimbo in my wee days). Which in turn got me thinking, how do the four Ninja Turtles map onto the four members of the FF?

Reed is Donatello, of course. Johnny is Michelangelo, and Ben’s got a bit of Raphael’s sardonic edge and bruiser mentality. Which I guess means Sue is the Leonardo of the group, which fits, because Leo is the objectively best Turtle and Sue is the underrated powerhouse holding the team together.
