As revealed over at The A.V. Club, the fourth entry in the Giant-Size X-Men series has been revealed and, boy it’s a doozy. Jonathan Hickman and his New Mutants partner Rod Reis are writing a One-Shot about Charlie Cluster-7 himself in GIANT-SIZE X-MEN: FANTOMEX #1
Last we saw Fantomex, Charles Xavier took over his body in Astonishing X-Men. Before that, he became one with The World in Uncanny X-Men. Before that he was trying to murder everything to prove he was the greatest thing in existence in X-Force. Before that, he was 3 people in a poly relationship with himself and Psylocke in Uncanny X-Force. What we are saying is, he will fit right into the Dawn of X.
On selecting the character, Reis said āI was looking for crazy and weird characters that would allow me to play with panel layouts and do crazy stuff.ā Get ready for an adventure that’s going to be super cool, super pretty, and super weird this May. Just the way we like it.
