Being a teen hero is hard. It’s even harder when the government takes draconian measures to prevent you from doing the right thing and enrolls your friends in reeducation centers. That’s what The Champions have been up against during the “Outlawed” event. They have been hunted by C.R.A.D.L.E., their friends have been taken prisoner, but The Champions are done running. They are taking the fight to C.R.A.D.L.E.
Eve Ewing’s run on the title, along side upcoming Way Of X artist Bob Quinn, has been filled with exciting ideas. We have been fans of her work giving the characters authentic voices. While this issue marks the end of her time writing these teens, Danny Lore is waiting in the wings to pick up the baton. We have an exclusive preview of Champions #5 by Ewing and Quinn. The title will also include a back up by Lore and artist Luciano Vecchio. While this arc may be winding down, The Champions never truly say die!
