TIL Firebird was created by Bill Mantlo and Sal Buscema and first appeared in 1981’s Incredible Hulk #265.
TIL Firebird was an Avenger.
TIL Firebird was romantically involved with Hank Pym, aka the Worst Avenger.
Hopefully Kalinda Vazquez and Alba Glez can redeem the character in spite of that last fact in their backup story to this issue, in which the Avengers continue to fight the Ashen Combine, including a character who looks like the final boss from the end of Final Fantasy XIII.
