You got Elektra in my Psylocke story! You got Psylocke in my Elektra story! When this retro miniseries exploring the early days of Caucasian superhero Psylocke’s transformation into an Asian ninja assassin was announced, I’m not sure anyone was expecting it to turn into an Elektra team-up book, yet as the series reaches its climax, that’s where we are.
Yet for all the ninja action and exploration of Hand mythology (shout out to Snakeroot!), the series has also become a stealth Jubilee vehicle, giving everyone’s favorite former mallrat a chance to shine (which is especially appreciated since she’s not really doing much in Uncanny X-Men in the present day) — something which looks to continue in the series’ final issue.
