AGE OF X-MAN: 10-Part Weekly Series Announced At NYCC

After Disassembled, the Age of X-Man commences. So says an ominous message that made its way around the web Tuesday. Well now, brethren, we know just what the AGE OF X-MAN holds. During the Diamond Retailer Appreciation Breakfast we learned more, so much more. Per Comics Beat AGE OF X-MAN is a 10-part weekly story that comes as a result of the upcoming UNCANNY X-MEN relaunch. This will be the second series to launch as a 10-part weekly book, coming after the 5-part weekly X-MEN BLACK. Bleeding Cool was also there to report the creative team for AGE OF X-MAN ALPHA #1 with CABLE scribes (and X-Man fans) Zac Thompson & Lonnie Nadler writing and Ramon Rosanas (PHOENIX RESURRECTION, HUNT FOR WOLVERINE: DEAD ENDS) on art, rounded out by Phil Noto on covers. It is unclear if this is the team for the entire series or just the first issue. We can independently confirm that Zac & Lonnie are writing all 10 issues, no indication of other artists.

From Bleeding Cool

In the leaked picture we can see seemingly alternate reality versions of Nightcrawler, Magneto, Nature Girl, Jean Grey, Storm, X-Man, and Colossus in medieval garb. No idea where this is going or what is happening but one thing is sure, this is a very exciting time to be an X-Men fan.

This story is still developing and details may change as it does.
