In the current arc of Laura Kinney: Wolverine, our heroine is in some kind of altered quasi-sitcom reality where she and her sister Gabby (Hooray!) live with their father, Logan, and Laura is experiencing a trauma response regarding the death of her mother in which she writes fantasies about a violent character called the Wolverine.
Think of it like Full House. Laura is DJ (Oh my Lanta!), Gabby is Stephanie (How rude!), Logan is Danny (Get down! And I don’t mean get funky.), Ms. Marvel is Kimmy Gibbler (Did she have a catchphrase?)
And in this issue, Hellion is Steve. You remember Steve, right? DJ’s boyfriend? Ended up voicing Aladdin?
