Tony’s pick: The Flash #32: OK, so maybe Flash’s world has gone crazy, and maybe he’s having to run around the city several times a minute just to save people from themselves, but at least things can’t get worse, right? I don’t know why people still use that rhetorical construction. Every time you say, “At least things can’t get worse,” you’re just setting things up to get way worse. Austin’s pick: DC Finest — A Death in the Family: Two of the most controversial Batman stories — “The Cult” and “A Death in the Family” — are featured together for the first time in this volume that showcases the Caped Crusader’s lowest moments of despair as he is pushed to his mental limits. She is unable to rid herself of this curse, and The Ick needs to feed, so Orla has decided to use her powers to help other women by removing the worst men from the dating pool. But when she meets a guy she actually likes, and finally has a chance at a love story of her own, will she be able to keep her inner monster under control?
