This preview of next week’s Binary #2, part of the ongoing “Age of Revelation” event, appears to show Jean Grey sacrificing herself – as she does – to stop the spread of the X-Virus beyond Earth.
Sounds right. All she ever did was die on us.
But wait, can a virus travel through the void of space? What kind of virus vector would be strong enough to make that happen?

According to the National Institutes of Health, “It seems plausible to speculate that Earth may be spraying viruses into space at a low rate, and going the other way, that extraterrestrial material landing on Earth may on occasion contain recognizable viral particles.” This theory is referred to as virolithopanspermia.
Heh-heh. Sperm.
